Brian Curry is at the older end of the Gen-X folk, and he's always willing to utilize important resources such as frequent loud music, concert mosh pits and spanking.
Brian started his radio career back in 1993 by working on the promotions/street team for Dallas rock station KEGL. Two years later, an air-talent opportunity presented itself and Mr. Curry migrated down the street to Dallas/Ft. Worth heritage rock station KTXQ (Q102). After that there was a brief one-year run at alternative rock station KDGE (94.5 The Edge), also in Dallas.
Currently Brian is trying something completely different - he works here! He is the semi-charming, yet naturally-brewed host of "Retro Saturday Nights." He also manages to cover other weekend air shifts, as well as filling in and doing other work around the station during the week.
He fills his spare time - what little he has - by kicking back and enjoying life to the fullest. A little barking at the moon never hurt anyone. He spends time with friends and family. He also spends time with his 6-year old son, Tyler, and his new wife Alicia and daughter Mykaela.
As hard as it may be to believe, Brian is not really that far from what society deems as normal. He enjoys shooting pool, concerts, going snow skiing, hanging out at the beach, camping, traveling - and whatever else is fun.
Brian is a fan of all types of music: rock, blues, alternative, eclectic, some country and a taste of classical.
Movies? Oh yes! Food is also good to eat when hungry. Right?
